Senior Graphic Designer - Compensation: $24-28/hr in Santa Fe Springs, California

Job Requirements:
3D illustration and photography are must-have-criteria. Animated graphic is a plus but not required.
We are interested in candidates that worked in corporate and fast pace settings. No freelancers please.
Job Description:
Responsible for the creation and production of brochures, newsletters, displays, promotional materials, web-ready artwork, and other publication projects. This position requires in-depth knowledge of publishing and graphic software packages, skills in creating visual materials and presentations. The ideal candidate for the position will possess traits and skills of a senior graphic designer within the Marketing Department and performs other duties as assigned.
Brainstorming and mocking up design ideas
Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, product samples, and websites.
Draw charts, graphs, 2D and 3D illustrations, and other artwork.
Photograph product samples
Retouch & correct photos
Produce still and animated graphics for videos
Education/Background:
Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with coursework or degree in graphic design; and five or more years of experience in graphic design. Working knowledge of website development and photography preferred.
Knowledge/Skills:
? Principles and techniques of graphic design and production and communication theory including a basic understanding of marketing and promotional concepts
? Applicable software programs including, but not limited to, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and other software programs
? Effectively plan, design, layout, and create visual elements for publications, brochures, reports, web pages, and other assigned documents
? Translate communication needs into an artistic design
? Create print-ready materials
? Edit and proof graphic artwork
? Work productively and efficiently in both a team environment as well as independently with limited supervision
? Manufacturing environment a plus

? Compensation: $24-$28 per hour (DOE)
